Should Have Known Better Than To Buy A Watermelon At Wal-Mart Earlier This Week…

Was going to have it tonight after dinner and it has a big white spot on it…already bad. It was firm with a greenish stem on it when I got it and didn’t leave it in a hot car either, it’s near the a/c vent in the living room. They had put them on “sale” but they probably knew they were going bad.

I hate when that happens. It's also a hit and miss when I buy avocados and pineapples.

@Azlotto and bananas are a crap shoot too…buy them green and they either ripen quickly or take 3 weeks. I think some of them are actually plantains that have been mislabeled.
