Slow People In Walmart

Omg. I absolutely cannot stand going to the store anymore and dealing with people. Screaming kids and people in my way, they don't know how to move the hell out of the way when you're trying to get something off the shelf. People standing there browsing...I know what the hell I need when I go in there. I get my stuff and get out. Just needed to vent. 🤬

Ive started to order my things that i get at our meijer(box store) and they deliver to my car. I believe walmart does the same.
Misfits for produce(surprisingly affordable) and to my butcher for meat. And of course costco. But for some reason. There is a different flow there.
I have zero patience with the people in those stores and many that work in them.
But, im getting old. Ive used up most of my patience points.

My grocery store hack is going between 6-8 AM. Fewer people and no looky-loos. The staff and cashiers are in better moods because some clabber for brains hasn't pissed them off yet. Make a list and keep the phone in a pocket or purse. Jabbering on your phone while paying for your stuff is rude and disrespectful.

Never go shopping on weekends

I swear some lady was trying to ram me with her motorized cart so I stopped in the middle of the aisle and dead stared at her for about 30 seconds.

@MyNameIsHurl I was concerned

@WaryWitchWandering that would be concerning 😆

@MyNameIsHurl normally it's people oblivious to and inconsiderate of the disabled people on mobility scooters by blocking the middle of the aisle or both sides (cart on the aisle side opposite to the shelf they actually want)

Ugh I'm glad I'm not the only one. 😆
I can appreciate the frustration.

I thought I found the key to this frustration: parking my cart in one of the big avenues and walking into the narrow, congested, aisles to get things.

Then I experienced the horror of a worker grabbing my full cart and dragging it off because they felt it was abandoned.

This happened in a home deport where people are as rude as you describe at your Walmart. Hours of shopping getting colored paint, special and particular plumbing and electrical fixtures. I went down a crowded aisle to nab Christmas lights. In the time it took me to walk, grab the lights, and get back-- it was snagged.

It's amazing how many people just wander around slowly as if in a trance without seeming to know what they are doing or where they are going. Very frustrating.

I used to go at 1AM as to avoid the crowds but our Walmart isn’t 24 hour anymore. Now I try to avoid Wednesday (social security day) and weekends.

Pet peeve of mine as well. I hate to see the brick and mortar stores go away....but shit like this makes the online buying seem like a more favorable option.

My favourite are the ones who bring their 3 or 4 kids to Costco and walk 5 wide in the very wide Costco isles, and are browsing every single item, like get out of the way ffs, i can be in and out in 15 minutes on a Tuesday afternoon, Friday and Saturday, forget it 😖
