I Bought A Cosco Step Stool & It Seemed To Be Smaller Than The Older Ones Made In Th 60’s…

I thought to myself maybe it was my imagination or because people were smaller back in the 60’s and 70’s. But even the step seemed not as wide. Then looked on Ebay at the vintage Cosco step stools and they did have larger seats, and the bottom step was wider. Oh well, I like it anyway. I guess they are saving money by making them smaller and keeping the prices more affordable for the new ones. The boy spent an hour yesterday afternoon assembling it for me. He loves to put things together. I didn’t even ask him to, he just took over.

It looks like a highchair to me.

@Lostpoet Would work pretty good to sit a toddler up higher to the table.

@TexChik we kept ours in the kitchen next to the table. I believe it was yellow. My aunt saved up her S & H Green Stamps and got it from the green stamp store. When I’d cook I’d sit on it to cook on the stove. It was just the right height. I was wanting it about 3 months ago and just ordered it a couple weeks ago and got it. Because sometimes when I stand a long time I get a bit weak and need to sit down. Also the steps will be good for reaching for things in the cabinets and cleaning. I saw on one website that people are buying them in colors that match their kitchens and buying several to use for barstools.
