how much do you spend on groceries each week

[c=7700B2]food prices have dramatically gone up, what i spent today was way too much, i couldn't afford it and had to put items back, which was embarrassing for me, as there were people queing behind me, i'm only on a fixed income.[/c]

Next time take a calculator with you. There should be an app on your phone.

@Jenny1234 You must have a big family.
Jenny1234 · 51-55, F
@MsSwan I have three young men who eat like there is no tomorrow and one of my daughters moved back home in December. Not to mention the cost of food is just so expensive
@Jenny1234 That explains it, lol.
FreeSpirit1 · 51-55, F
About 100 to 125
I live alone now but when my son was here it was way more, but he chipped in
calicuz · 51-55, M
I get paid twice a month, so it's 300 to 400 on the first go around, and then it's spurts of 50 to 100 dollars depending on what's needed like milk, juice, and perishables. We do shop at the Big Box Stores to save money on nonperishables and frozen foods, but prices are high there as well.
Average - $900 - $1,000 & that is with a 50 % discount on most things.

BUT

Twice a week I make 60 to 75 serves with free delivery

About 40 quid but that includes treats and home ware stuff too.
Harmonium1923 · 51-55, M
@AntisocialTroll You are managing well!
AntisocialTroll · 56-60, F
@Harmonium1923 Tis just me to buy for, I buy as much food on special offer as is humanly possible and always stock up on things like loo paper, coffee etc when they are on offer.

Even my treats choice each week is dictated by what is on special offer 🤣
Justmeraeagain · 56-60, F
Too much and they want to raise our morgages over 30% here.
helsbels · 26-30, F
