I was told to get out of my local grocery store yesterday….

@BlueGreenGrey I didn’t call ahead for chicken. Even though I have never called ahead for chicken, or been told that was a requirement. I was fully prepared to wait for the order, and I did. It wasn’t until the order was ready that he told me to get out of “his” store.
While waiting, I overheard him from another aisle talking to other customers about me not calling in, saying that I got “huffy” with him. He said I was lying about not calling in all of the other times I’ve picked up chicken.
Just a very, very odd interaction altogether.

maybe you might want to call and ask for the owner (or go in an see them in person), and tell them about this

@BlueGreenGrey I didn’t. I waited approximately 45 minutes and still left without my order.
I did talk to the store manager before I left to make her aware of the situation. I left her my info to pass along. I hope they have a video camera in that area because the whole thing was so bizarre.

Did they run out of stuff after supplying the people who did call or something?

@BlueGreenGrey No. He had it all packaged up, except for the chicken, which was still cooking. He hadn’t handed me any of it before telling me to get out.

@BlueGreenGrey She didn’t seem very surprised. She said she would pass my contact info along to her boss, who I assume is the owner.
