You don't even know why?
QueenOfTheNerds · 41-45, F
@Nitedoc I didn’t call ahead for chicken. Even though I have never called ahead for chicken, or been told that was a requirement. I was fully prepared to wait for the order, and I did. It wasn’t until the order was ready that he told me to get out of “his” store.
While waiting, I overheard him from another aisle talking to other customers about me not calling in, saying that I got “huffy” with him. He said I was lying about not calling in all of the other times I’ve picked up chicken.
Just a very, very odd interaction altogether.

@QueenOfTheNerds Wow! Can you just go elsewhere? Who's in charge of that store?
QueenOfTheNerds · 41-45, F
@Nitedoc There aren’t a lot of options that are close, and now there’s one less for me.
Nitedoc · 51-55, M
@QueenOfTheNerds That's what I was thinking too. Does he own the store?
QueenOfTheNerds · 41-45, F
@Nitedoc No. He’s an employee.
Nitedoc · 51-55, M
@QueenOfTheNerds Great! Talk to his boss and the owner. I'd do everything I could to burn him. Try to do it the right way first.
QueenOfTheNerds · 41-45, F
@Nitedoc I did tell the store manager about it. I left her my business card and phone number.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@QueenOfTheNerds He is acting like he owns that store. That very well could get him fired because in a small town word gets out quickly and customers may find other ways to get what they want in groceries.
QueenOfTheNerds · 41-45, F
@cherokeepatti I don’t think most people actually do their grocery shopping there. They’re way more expensive than if you make the drive to a bigger town and a bigger store. It is convenient to have for odds and ends that you need, though. I know the manager rolled her eyes when I told her what he said. She didn’t seem surprised.
Odds are that if he lives around here, I know his mama and most of his family.

@QueenOfTheNerds And she did nothing. What about the owner? He needs to know about this.
