Unfortunately, tourists bring in the big bucks so there's no incentive to cater to refugees etc.

@deadgerbil yep even to working people, there are many cases of teachers who have to move to some island to teach the local kids at schools there but can't find an apartment at a logical price because the tourist season lasts until the end of October. It's absurd the people from the islands are more welcoming to tourisrs than to the teachers of their own kids or to the doctors that go there to work for them.

@HannibalAteMeOut That’s the sad reality. Over tourism leaves local in a money-hunger that they would sell their souls just to get easy buck. Depending on the demand, you’ll see some illegal shit start building up.
