Tbh no matter what's being said, the USA's right wing is really mild compared to what's out there for the rest of us.

I mean some of them even support gay rights and are openly irreligious.

I remember just 6 years ago when I was in high school, being an atheist was almost unheard of and only a minority claimed the word "feminist". I'm not even going to talk about the treatment of lgbt+ and immigrants. My chemistry professor called me Bakunin for being open about these issues and questioning very common "jokes" and what not.
And now they act like they are afraid of "cancel culture" and "woke people". We are just getting started. It's just what they thought was "normal" for all their lifetime being questioned now. Imagine living in fear of being yourself for all these years. Like even just for wearing something. I'm still very alert whenever I see men dressed in a more "feminine" way in public transportation, for example. I think what if someone attacks them out of the blue?
Some people think just because someone won't tolerate insults from them and will talk back, they have their freedoms taken away.

What's the context, or what did he mean by that? Sorry I don't get the reference.

The part that scares me, is certain parts of the right wing want to be able to eliminate the election if they don't win... or eliminate the power of any non-Republican that wins. Where it's not an equal and fair system.

@Viper I don't remember what we had said previously, but it was just me being outspoken about equality. I guess that's very anarchistic to some.

Yeah I can see that... I hope they're just words and no actions.

In Wisconsin, the Democrats won and the Republican Congress basically limited their powers as much as possible. Though that's just one state.

In Pennsylvania, we have a guy running for Governor whom claims he'll be decertified voting machines that doesn't agree with his thoughts... outlaw abortions, and try to make gay marriage illegal, though based on current polling (if correct) he should lose... but he shouldn't have even won the primary.

But your right, in a lot of areas, it would be much worse than that... such as if you upset the wrong person they'll kill you.

Of course that's true in America too... just not as public about it.

@Viper wow they're really doing everything in their power to ignore democracy... I'm sorry it's all happening.

@HannibalAteMeOut So far that's just one state where they're doing it, but others in other states are threatening to do it...

Usually guys that Trump's backs... but a lot of them aren't doing so well in the polls, of course the polls can always be wrong...
