What's your favorite Dollar Tree purchase?

Was just using my plastic reach extender I got from there and thinking it was the best thing I've bought at the Dollar Tree. Only a dollar lol.

@OlderSometimesWiser me too lmao

@OlderSometimesWiser There better be red licorice in there. 😒
@Degbeme Give me a couple of hours. I’m sure it’s in there somewhere.

Shampoo, soap, tin foil, bleach, laundry detergent, dish soap, lotion, powder, toothpaste, wood glue, candy... . Sometimes they have air dusters, cola, pudding, matches, emergency candles, scented oil, bathroom cleaners.... I gave those reach extenders away as extra Christmas presents.
You can get off brand glass cleaner for a dollar 50 at walmart. @JohnnySpot

@Spoiledbrat I also get mouthwash at the Dollar tree.
rosyhills · 31-35, F
@JohnnySpot they have one that I don't know the name of , but I know it when I see it. It's anti cavity and doesn't dry my mouth out. I haven't had a cavity in years. When I see it, I always get a few bottles.
These short handled wood handled spatulas. I liked them so much i bought 3, 10+ years ago and I still have them all.

Thank you cards, or get well cards, or maybe you should hurry up and die cards. Oh, and candy bars.

Everything is a dollar and twenty five cents here. I bought pens and a note book that are pretty good.

I bought a cake carrier that will be perfect for when I make a cardamom-walnut Bundt cake with rosewater glaze. It’s the perfect size for that and only cost $1.25. Had been wanting one but didn’t want to pay the prices for others.
JohnnySpot · 56-60, M
@cherokeepatti Could you also make a chocolate cake the same size?
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@JohnnySpot Could make just about any flavor

Gift bags and gift tissue for the bags. I bought 30 coloring books (thick) and 30 boxes of Crayola crayons (big box) for kids in Honduras..

I think, Dollar Tree is closing many stores right now
JohnnySpot · 56-60, M
@InHeaven The Dollar Tree is not closing stores to my knowledge.

Discounted potato chips
Half marbles that I made into magnets. I usually don't bother with that store but I had read online somewhere that they had them so I went there.

Thank you! A reach extender is exactly what I need to add to my shopping list, with telescopic arms so I can reach 10 to 12 feet.
Penny · 46-50, F
@Heartlander 10-12 feet? lol
Heartlander · 80-89, M
@Penny yes, high shelves, and I’m too old to be climbing a ladder (according to the ER doctor)
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
i think most items are now more than a dollar, despite the name.
SW-User
@samueltyler2 it’s 1.25 tree
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@SW-User yes, I believe that is what I noticed.

Now that I think about it I don’t think I’ve ever shopped there 🤔
Moneyonmymind · 31-35, M
@Spoiledbrat same with Costco, feels like it’s only beneficial for people with large families, I’ll stick to the grocery store
@Moneyonmymind Some things are worth it. Like detergent dish soap batteries garbage bags fabric softener tortillas milk eggs freezer bags shampoo conditioner and it lasts for a year. - And I'm sure I'm forgetting something.
Moneyonmymind · 31-35, M
@Spoiledbrat hmm maybe I’ve been sleeping on Costco for too long then
