I Finally Bought A Firepit…Haven’t Assembled It Yet. It Looks Like This….

I found one on clearance (half-price) at a discount store, original price at Sam’s Club was about $300. I paid $75 yesterday. It is a “smokeless” pit, after the fire gets started the smoke inside recirculates through air holes and burns…like a rocket stove does. It is very heavy metal. I need to buy some blocks to set it on outdoors.

I actually see something to mow around the weed eat around.looking at a gas one that is builr into the table

@MarineBob I don’t care. I have wanted a fire pit for a long time, didn’t want a flimsy one and couldn’t find a good one for that price before. The smokeless feature means I won’t get smoked out sitting around it. Also can cook on it using wood and not have to buy propane or charcoal.

We have a couple of chimineas at the farm on the covered porch . It’s nice to have a fire burning in the winter

@TexChik Yeah I love those too, don’t have to money for one. Think they would bring the heat up better to sit around in cool weather.

Does it work as a BBQ? Looks like it can. I bern looking 4 a small bbq set.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Sazzio I can use it for that too. Believe I have a round grate to go on top from another grill. Can also use some long kebab sticks that I have.

@cherokeepatti well i have a cage off a drain dryer fan i use for that, fits perfect
nedkelly · 61-69, M
Is this for inside or outside use
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@nedkelly outside only since it’s wood-burning. I will buy some concrete paver square paver stones to set it on. It has a heavy metal cover to put on it to keep rain out after it’s been cooled down. And a plastic cover to store it outside during the winter I guess.
