That's awesome!😊There was a place in town where I used to live that gave away clothes, books, cosmetics, and furniture! It was unbelievable! It got closed down when it was discovered the volunteers there were taking all the stuff home and selling it at their garage sales. 😯I guess it was run by the city.

@Fluffybull It was, there were a lot of poor people and students trying to earn a college degree that counted on the place. They also used to have a crock pot full of stew for those who were homeless, and there was a shower for them as well. 😔

Excellent service. There is a charity in my local town that reconditions and sells on second hand furniture and electrical goods. Much in demand among students and the rented housing sector.

@SunshineGirl It's a brilliant place, all furniture, books, dvds, bric a brac etc is donated by local people. So much better than taking them to the dump! 👍👏
