I found this thing in my parent's basement 🙃

I'm pretty damn sure it is older than me. It existed as far as I could remember and even as a small kid I can't recall if it was ever used. It was more like out of date. I think there are missing parts but I'm not very certain, lol

Looks like the all in one with stand stuff Sansui used to sell in the mid 1980's, it's missing the amplifier, tuner and cassette deck and that turntable is missing the cartridge with the needle though looks like there's a speaker to the left of the stand. Probably not worth much today as it was fairly cheap even when new. The case below it would have been for cassette tapes and below that was space for vinyl records standing upright.

You sound like an expert bc it's indeed a Sansui model and the time frame you mention seems accurate and yes that's a speaker and cassette case. All correct ✅

@SW-User Not really an expert but I owned a similar one in the 1980's. Sansui sold that whole system with the stand for around $1,000 but they also had some very high quality components like receivers that sold for more.
