@Picklebobble2 @metaldog Sigh. I get it. I’ve never had a problem with them and it was just something I found amusing. $8.00 for a pack of chargers seemed like a bargain. Apple will replace your charger cord (one) for a mere $39.95. Now that’s a rip-off. 🤨

Funny....I’m going to need to get a couple of those because in the condo we’re moving into, they don’t have wall-mounted tp holders! Still, Amazon hasn’t suggested that for me. I bought a blood pressure monitor, and they suggested a wool cap and some other unrelated things. I have a Samsung Galaxy phone, too....so any of your suggested items makes some sense (for me) as a recommendation, except that I don’t like clear cases and I’ve never cracked a phone screen.
They actually base it on products that others bought with your item. The way to get free shipping is to order many things so your over all bill is above $100. Especially if you don't have Amazon prime.
Mine often shows what I've recently browsed. Maybe if you haven't browsed other items recently their suggestion algorithms just do a random selection of things they think you might want?
Yeah I love their tagging system. I have look up nail polish and gotten an Apple dongle. I think it has to do with what is called social tagging which lets unqualified people add tags and keywords to products. I have done that job before and you literally get paid pennies at a time. So many people aren't going to care about tagging something accurately.
