What does it mean if a shop in the US is closed for 'fall flip'?

I can't think of anything equivalent here in the Oz space.

It's when a lace switches from its summer items and promotions to fall and winter items and promotions. Never heard of a poace closing for it though

@MethDozer Living in Yellow according to it's website says 'shop closed for fall flip'. Your explanation makes sense.

Here that never happens. shops change out between spring/summer/autumn/winter ahead of the seasons like a normal part of being a shop that sells clothing and other seasonal-specific things.

@zonavar68 Not sure what that is. Closing for seasonal change seems like something that a niche boutique type shop might do. If you're asking if it is a standard or common thing, the answer is no. Like if a small niche shop had a sign saying they were closed for a couple days for it I wouldnt be shocked but I wouldn't expect it and if it was a larger standard store I would be surprised.
