Are goods and products in general made in the USA still able to be ordered, sent and received without interference from the regime?

For me that's mostly model train stuff currently, but includes computer hardware items, some car parts, etc.

Enjoy the tariffs and slow delivery. It may be easier to order from Britain.😷

Would that mean that my ordered goods would actually be handled by an authentic British person who might actually have met the Queen in her day of Reign?

@swirlie No. But as a consolation prize, know you have spoken to someone whose father met the queen (And the tall guy who used to follow on behind her) on two occasions..😷

May I take this moment to curtsey you while still in your virtual presence?

@swirlie Wait till I gets me sword.. 😂

@whowasthatmaskedman
What? You don't carry it on you at all times anymore?
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@swirlie No. Thats regarded as a bit pretentious out here in the Colonies.😷

@whowasthatmaskedman
Just pretend that you're an American and nobody will even question the sword.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@swirlie Here an American either apologises for it, or claims to be Canadian.😷

@whowasthatmaskedman
He can get away with being Canadian until he walks into a restaurant and starts talking.

@swirlie Here, the colour of your skin, your faith or your accent are secondary. Being Australian is an attitude. Show up with an aggressively American attitude and you wont get far with anyone..😷

I can believe that! I know my Dad once sent an American tourist on his way who stopped on at our roadside vegetable stand, but I always thought it was just a one-off type of incident that could only ever happen on my watch! 🤣

@swirlie I expect your father didnt judge the person on his passport alone. But his behaviour.😷

True, it had something to do with the guy's obnoxious demeanor I think.
