What was the last thing you purchased for yourself, on a whim, that you didn't really need? Do you regret it or are you happy you did?

Was it worth what you paid?

For me it was a cast iron/enamel pumpkin shaped dutch oven. I don't feel a bit bad about it. The price was very reasonable.

I bought a pc i didn't use because i didn't spec it correctly 10 years ago that still haunts me. Or those display weapon unsharpened arc-blades I wanted to train with as a weeaboo teenager.

My pride held on for years, power over my good judgement and sense until the latter finally prevailed and I dumped them.

@twistedrope I made a few purchases like that along the way, too. A couple of items were easy to toss, but yeah... there were a couple of things that I kept far too long.
