What was the last thing you purchased for yourself, on a whim, that you didn't really need? Do you regret it or are you happy you did?

Was it worth what you paid?

For me it was a cast iron/enamel pumpkin shaped dutch oven. I don't feel a bit bad about it. The price was very reasonable.

a hohner 1040 melodeon....learning to play it has been quite the humbling kind of frustration so far tho it's better than otherwise just sitting around and beating off, i suppose.

@sp1dwoOfe221 That's actually very cool. I purchased a vintage accordian a few years ago, but as of yet, have not learned to play it. Are you teaching yourself or do you have an instructor?

@LadyBronte haven't been able to find anything in the way of a personal "tutor" let alone anyone who plays the same type of button box, although the net is a great resource even if im only getting the hang of reading and interpreting sheet music....albeit, basing my goal around playing like this guy was/is a bit lofty
