It's about 9 or 10$ for 18 eggs at our store .. so basically the same thing..

That's awful !! I don’t see it getting better anytime soon.

Probably it's expensive at every store right now.
@DanielsASJ yep it's that way all the way around.

$6.99 for a dozen large eggs

How long will that many eggs last you?

@cherokeepatti Wow, Patti, that's a great deal. I've cut down on my eggs. They might even last me four weeks, but not past that. I know you can't eat them past 5 weeks.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@LadyGrace I put them in water to test them, if they are floating throw them out. I have had them keep a bit longer than 5 weeks. When it was really cold in the winter a few years ago and they were cheap to buy a 60-count case of them I would get them and keep them in the garage, they stayed cold and none of them ruined.
@cherokeepatti yes ma'am, so have I but I decided not to keep them longer than 5 weeks anymore but I really like your idea with the floating the eggs in the water. Thank you.

They are just driving up prices... there is NO egg shortage, of course... the last administration said "kill them birds"... wait...or was it geese he meant ,,, no wait... it's cows... or was it?....lol Go Biden-Harris....
Moneyonmymind · 31-35, M
At those prices why even bother buying eggs?
Moneyonmymind · 31-35, M
@LadyGrace I’m curious to see what the price of eggs will be next time I go shopping
@Moneyonmymind Exactly! They will be up for quite some time, but don't worry. The price will go down and I don't believe it will take all that long. We're just making adjustments to our economy right now. And the reason it's so rough is because we have to correct what mistakes have been made in this country from the past.
