Don't recommend Temu, they use suppliers tied to slave labor in China.

@Dignaga OML! So sad that bonded labor still exists
@Donotfolowme It's why I only use Samsung. They moved all of their factories out of China. Apple still heavily uses China.

There are some elements used in the construction of phones linked to international slave labor, but I have no reliable way of tracking all that. Alot of chocolate likewise used slave and child labor.

@Dignaga so does Microsoft and Apple, will you be throwing away your computer/phone now?
@wildbill83 I don't use apple products, Samsung. And Microsoft mostly does code, my next laptop is going to be a ryzen to save on electricity. That's taiwan.

@Dignaga hate to burst your bubble, but anything electronic uses chinese parts...
@wildbill83 Samsung moved all operations OUT OF CHINA.

@Dignaga aka, made in china, assembled somewhere else...
@wildbill83 No, made in Korea, assembled in places like Malaysia if they export it at all.

They have been doing it for several years now. South Korea and Taiwan is more aware of the China threat than the average American. I switched to Samsung due to this commitment. Your knowledge would be correct about 5 years ago, but is outdated. If you want a Chinese free phone, Samsung is the only brand that delivers. Apple has production in India but it is impossible to get them in the US, you have to use the Chinese ones, and use CCP controlled cloud services as well. The communists have all your data because Apple is a Chinese Company, not American. It's only American in name.
