It varies a lot though because I have enough clothes to last a decade. I counted my tops (not including knitted jumpers) recently and found that I have about a hundred, enough to wear a different one every day for more than three months!
But sometimes there are things that I see and just have to have. Usually they are in a charity shop so they don't cost much.

@saragoodtimes My goodness! A good dress makes me feel good but that's a lot of money.
Still, if you enjoy it and you have enough money for it to not negatively impact your domestic economy then there are plenty of far worse things to spend the money on!
