I decided to get a headphones upgrade last month. My last pair was taped and uncomfortable to wear.
Due to using headphones for multiple hours per day I purchased the best available. This set me back $360.
These are Sony WH with leading noise cancelling and special padding. I have never worn a lighter, more comfortable pair than them.
In addition they offer 20 hours of battery life and automatically turn off when they are not being used.
For most people this may be an excessive purchase. However, I am very sensitive to how they feel and wear them excessively. Therefore, I think it was a good decision for me. I can even use these while working at my next programming job.
