What’s the most expensive piece of clothing you ever bought? How much was it?

(Aside from maybe your own wedding attire)

Some of my suits cost about $1,200, so I would say they are my most costly clothing items.

@QCDog2659 wow that is a lot for a suit
QCDog2659 · 61-69, M
@Cosmicmicrowave Not really. The more expensive off-the-rack ones are $2,000 plus.

A good bespoke one will go for at least $5,000

@QCDog2659 It depends on how much money you have and as someone who is in their last year of high school and does not have a job that is a lot of money for clothing
QCDog2659 · 61-69, M
@Cosmicmicrowave Yes. It is a matter of perepective.
@QCDog2659 @Cosmicmicrowave Something for a person to aspire to.

@LamontCranston Clothes make the man. You got to look sharp.
@QCDog2659 Totally in agreement.

@LamontCranston I just liked the fabric, color, and feel.

The fact that they were on sale iced the deal.
@QCDog2659 Certainly, those are good reasons for the selection. Also, in bespoke or made to measure, one can often have working buttons on the cuffs or, as a change of pace, peak lapels on single breasted suits.

@LamontCranston Exactly!

I used to have my shirts custom made, but the maker died.

If you feel good in your clothing, you project that good feeling to others.
@QCDog2659 sometimes the contrast collar shirt gives an extra bit of style to a look.
