I hate wearing glasses, I spent $250 on them

(including anti glare, and transitions)

I went Zenni last time but had SO many problems with the prescription and other things just not quite right so I went ahead and got it done in store. My glasses look super cute though. Nothing like I've ever had.

Already spent $250 so let me hop online and shop some more, could always use more PJ's right?

I went to a store as well and had insurance and paid about that much on top of the insurance. I have to have bifocals and that costs more. The reason I didn’t go online is that they need to measure you and the center of the glasses and bent the earpieces to fit you just right or otherwise you won’t get the proper focus with them. Also they’ll adjust them later for you when they need it and replace the nose cushion things if needed.

@cherokeepatti yea that was one of the issues I had
@cherokeepatti 😆 It's never even occurred to me to get my glasses adjusted. I always buy two identical frames, one with clear and one with tinted lenses. When both pairs are broken, I rebuild one pair until they are no longer repairable.🤓🔧😆
i understand your pain, glasses are soooo expensive and just in case, don't ever go to America's Best thinking you will get a deal, it's a literal scam
@rosyhills yeah they really advertise their "$99 exam" but they don't tell you, that's just to see the doctor! You then have to sign and pay extra fees for EACH of the 3 machines they use to actually test vision. I should have walked out then and there, when they wanted me to pay for each machine, but I stupidly went ahead and bought 2 pairs of glasses as well. The glasses also cost more than advertised because the cheaper frames (as advertised) only come in 1 shape and color, which is unrealistic for people's different face shapes. It's just all around scammy and overpriced.
