Am I the only one who doesn't like buying clothes that will only be worn once?

For example, shirts that read:

"It's my 25th birthday"
"Bobby's graduation squad"
" Smith family 2022 reunion"
or even halloween costumes. I'm gonna put something together that doesn't look very "costumey" so I can wear it again a regular day lol

It's very cheesy to me.

They really bother me when they say, sister/brother/mom/dad of the 5 year old birthday boy.

I'd be like, save that money and buy me a present 😁

I have a family function coming up. I'm not spending $25 on a shirt that I'm only gonna wear once.
I'll just wear a shirt that's the same color.
