Am I the only one who doesn't like buying clothes that will only be worn once?

For example, shirts that read:

"It's my 25th birthday"
"Bobby's graduation squad"
" Smith family 2022 reunion"
or even halloween costumes. I'm gonna put something together that doesn't look very "costumey" so I can wear it again a regular day lol

It's very cheesy to me.

They really bother me when they say, sister/brother/mom/dad of the 5 year old birthday boy.

I'd be like, save that money and buy me a present 😁

I have a family function coming up. I'm not spending $25 on a shirt that I'm only gonna wear once.
I'll just wear a shirt that's the same color.

I have no problem with wearing the same outfit over abd over. If it looks good once, it will look good again.

So you don't like clothes that only have one use or rare usage. What do you think about shoes that you may only wear once or rarely?

@ColoradoKid For me, it's a waste of my money. What shoes would I be wearing rarely or just once? If I buy shoes, I'm gonna wear them... I've had 2 fancy dresses in my life, middle school grad dress and prom dress. I donated both post high school so that didn't feel like a waste. I'm sure I'd sell my wedding dress once I have one.

@rosyhills I have bought shoes that I have rarely worn. I still have them and wear them once in a while. I have close to 200 pair all different styles... Flats , heels, boots, tennis.. I find that heels 👠 are kinda fun.

I hate clothes that are single occasion. My only exception is momentos such as Theme park tshirts or family reunion tshirts.
