For the sake of breast health DON'T WEAR A BRA at least not at home.
Read the book DRESSED TO KILL about the danger of wearing bras.

@breastmilkprof I have and what convinced me to throw mine all away!

@1pebbles Good for you . That is the first thing I tell my breastfeeding patients.
While nursing use the softer kind but when finished ditch them.

@breastmilkprof choking off the passive lymphatic flow, causing toxins to collect in breast tissue! Guess what!? Since I stopped wearing them, my breasts haven’t fallen off yet!

@1pebbles You are a smart woman. Those are the facts that most women haven't got a clue about. The typical MD has no idea about this. Do tell your friends.

@breastmilkprof trust me, I do. Did a report for college on that very subject, “dressed to kill” was my main supply source with supporting articles and medical documentation. Bras only worn for the last 100 years. Third world nations don’t have nearly the rate of incidence of breast cancer rates as first world nations. Why? Bras!

@1pebbles I fully agree. I have travelled and seen a lot. The things we , meaning women do in our western society doesn't exist (although starting to) in the other countries. Bras are a huge money maker so they are advertised as a must.
Sadly they will continue to be sold and worn.

@1pebbles Good chatting with you. I have to go.

@breastmilkprof there was something to be said about bra burning back in the 60’s, they were on to something, we should have stuck with it.

@1pebbles Yes you are right. I teach and advise on lactation. Many moms or women into ANR, adult nursing relationships, do leak a lot so bras are the only thing that can hold nursing pads in place. Also some women with macromastia, many with fibrocystic breasts have lots of pain so here too bras do help. I advise lots of manual massage and vitamin E and fish oils. So, the free look isn't always possible.

@breastmilkprof I have fibrocystic breasts also and they have improved as my breasts are allowed to breath and move freely

@1pebbles Not intended as medical advice always consult with your primary care provider and pharmacist, but consider if not already taking, Fish oils OMEGA 3, Vit E mixed tocopherols, B50 complex, Vit A & C, Selenium, A good multivitamin.
Some doc recommend wearing a bra day and night!!!
Everyone is different so you may need to adjust things till you feel best.

Great talking with you 1pebbles. Cheers

@breastmilkprof already take all those supplements, plus curcumin, grape seed resveritrol, vitamin K, D, B complex, magnesium, zinc, prescribed bio identical T3T4

@1pebbles You do know your stuff! The artificial Thyroid meds are not good so glad you got the natural. Usually desiccated porcine thyroid is my choice to recommend.
Always look for standardized formulas for the likes of curcumin and resveratrol .
