i've got a tiny injury to my knee but it's causing me to pause everything :/ it's basically a waiting game now

Toxic shame leftover from extreme childhood abuse. I should've gotten past it by now but I haven't. I've been driven by it to consider some rather strange behavior lately. I'd rather not say what. But it's really not like me and I am wondering if I'm finally cracking up.
