I Think Too Much

How can I prevent this from happening before bed?

When you get into bed (preferably a comfortable one and at the best temperature for you) close you eyes and think of nothing. If this is a problem then try to picture a piece of black velvet. It may be hard at first but you have to completely block your mind from thinking and just keep imagining that piece of black velvet.

Of course there may be very important/stressful things in your life but you have to convince yourself that once in bed you can do nothing about them until the morning.

it happens with me too..i also have habit of overthinking , in daytime i mostly take a walk for 5 min outdoors if my mind is cluttered and during night when m unable to sleep i count from 1000 in reverse order and i am able to sleep. sometimes i hear positive affirmnations on youtube and it helps me to sleep

yeah u can try it but actually our brain is more active when we count the other way becoz we are usually taught to count forwards so we can easily do it, when we do backward count we get tired and sleep
