I never talk about how monotonous it was being homeless

Originally I wanted to veer off into the wilderness and build a shack or something to live in. I was focused on becoming enlightened and meditation. Ends up I turn into a huge alcoholic vising homeless shelter after homeless shelter. That lasted for years. I loved my life when I was camping out and drinking tho

I was homeless for a couple of years after high school. I was in the city at the time. The homeless shelters were full and even when I did get in I got bullied by the others so I camped around the place. Getting moved on constantly sucked. Camping along the river wasn't so bad.
I'd heard of a drug dealer I knew of, who was sent away to jail. His Girlfriend was selling all his stuff the cops didn't take. There was a flat he'd used as a drop off he said I could crash at till he got out. It was empty but at least it was out of the elements. It enabled me to find my footing.
I miss the camping.
