Time spent in bed.

Doesn’t matter what time I go to bed I only ever get 4 or 5 hours sleep before I’m restless and have to get back up, I must be getting old...

I’m not stressed or worried about anything, I work nine hours a day and get plenty exercise at work. I feel fine until I go to bed then boom, wide awake. I think I’m just getting old lol... Those 8 hours of sleep are long gone for me I think

Do you think a lot

If you are rested after 4-5 hours then no problem.
Studies show that we do need less sleep as we age.
But if you think that you would benefit from more sleep time then you should try to figure out why you cannot sleep?
Are you worried about things, tasks, life? Are you tightly wound?
Do you sleep with lights on or noise?
Studies also show that getting sufficient exercise improves sleep quality.
