Oh my God that's horrid, I'm so sorry that's happened to you.
Yeah times bad for us to. We were force to get jobs off the farm after 25 years farming independently, then 2018 hit, then covid and our ginseng crop prices never bounced back. Its just tank over the winter.
So in 2021 got a job at a factory and still doing the farm thing. (Cause we got so much invested, you can't bail and run) so we're killing ourselves doing both. In March of 2022 (March as to be a bad month for me) my epilepsy returns after a 30 year disappearance. Spent a week in the hospital and get released to return to work no restrictions.
I work 3.5 hrs and there sending home and saying I need a second opinion. I'm like WTF you can't do that.
So I had appointment with the doctor the following Monday anyways and told her what had happened.
She gives me a work release saying the same thing from the other doctor.
The company kept stalling and stalling. So we called the department of work place and development. They said if they anything or don't put me to work in the next couple of days. I could have a case for medical discrimination.
No sooner then I hang up with them. There my company calling, telling me I'm permanent lay off.
Sued the company for medical discrimination and still lost, 3 years in court and the whole time I'm listening to my lawyer don't get job. The longer your out work - they better it looks
So we ate though 3 years of savings, just to loose.
Now this new company is the first place to touch me and I'm at the point where I had to take shitty job over experience. So shitty job = shitty pay.
Which I just started June of last year. First job since March 2022 and March of 2026 is when I got hurt.
And while I'm out I'm leave. I also to lost all 3 legal vehicles to drive. Blown engine, hit deer, and blown head gasket.
We try scramble to get the blown head gasket one up and running before next week. I have the feeling ill be called back to work
