I didn't like private messages because some people would be very into you and then ghost you, and it felt like a total waste of time

I think it's a terrible idea to invest oneself here.. Or online. Or maybe anywhere really.
Well depends with who, but for the most part isn't a good idea I think

You can say that about the real world also. Most people will just drain you but you got to make friends.

@Lovebird It's hard online because people are with personal life problems and then they have to think up replies or compliments. Sometimes it's hard for me to even think how to spell. But I'm still emotionally invested on some people here and I like to check in with them.
