If you had an entire day all to yourself, to be spent alone, what would you do?

First off I would worry about my wife, but if she was okay I would sleep in. Then spend time in my recliner on SW waking up. Then I would go out for lunch. Spend a few minutes watching a RV video on YouTube while eating. In the afternoon I would like to go tool shopping followed by classic car shopping. I would definitely get plenty of pictures classic car shopping. For dinner I would like to go to one of my favorite mom and pop restaurants. After dinner maybe check out one of the local tiki bars. I haven't been out listening to live bands since Covid. That would be a really great way to finish off the perfect day. 🙂

Go hiking, go fishing, eat pizza, take a nap, take a long drive, go skiing. The possibilities are endless.

i don't mind being by myself...sometimes i prefer it that way...but i also like companionship. i like a little bit of balance.

I've had too many days like that at this point honestly. It would just be another day. :)

Im now on christmas break , I might spend some of it going out to get an coffee from starbucks or tim hortons , I will spend some of it buying christmas pressents for my family and for my boyfriend. I will play on my online childhood game , I might buy some new clothes and stuff I need for myself. Its mainly an time for rest for me. Ive worked extremely hard this year.

I am often... actually most often on my own, and I've found ways to fill my days with positive things... nothing wild or extravagant, just small pleasures that make me happy.

I think we sometimes let loneliness get the better of us, and for want of a better phrase, we allow ourselves to wallow in self-pity and loneliness.

Huh? That's like my whole life. Lol

I would make the most of it and do things I don't when I have my partner home. It takes a bit getting used to but after being alone a couple of times you'll get the hang of it.

I do that a lot, I enjoy my own company.

I've had many of those and I can safely say that 1 day is barely enough for the recovery. I need at least a week.

I'll spend it being lazy or working my ass off. Some how I can't be in the middle. With me it's all or nothing.

Would spend it like every other .........paranoid , voices speak , like big brother..

Other than my son and being a mom, that pretty much is my life.

Those are the days I crave! AND...I'm getting them ALL this week!!

I stay on my bed - my favourite space - read the cards. Meditate.
Make a nice breakfast and coffee.
Sleep.
Watch a movie.
