I Spend a Lot of Time By Myself

Not entirely through choice though. I mean, I like my alone time, it's helpful for reflection, bringing energy levels back up, helps me focus on projects and so on. But the problem is, I have too much of it, I don't really have a social life or spend great amounts of time with people. I wish I had that healthy medium but I think that choice is gone.
yeah, i can relate. But maybe one suggestion: try joining a club? tennis club, reading club, art club, etc, just to give you opportunities to be a bit with people?

@thinkbigaboutlife I've tried one or two, you could cut a knife through the atmosphere. I felt so uncomfortable at both.
oh. don't know what to say. Except that I too feel stressed in group settings, and it's hard to erase the "uncomfortable" or "don't fit in" feeling, but I try to push it aside. As a kid, my dad always told me this: when you are nervous around people, just remember that we all look the same on the toilet, and that their poop smells just as bad as mine.
