i got blocked after saying child marriage is wrong ):

@ScarletWitch for context it was in a post where i talked about the religion i was raised in and why i have an issue with it due to their leader and the religions practices. she said child marriage was legal at 10 years old at the time and i said legal or not its wrong and the average age for women at the time was 23 regardless of if they could marry at 10. then she called me dumb and blocked me 😔

Edit- i can't even wrap my head around people defending child marriage with "well it was legal at the time so!"

@NativePortlander1970 idr her name but it wasnt either of them. she wasnt even apart of the relgion so idk why she was so hard set on defending it. i wasnt even being hateful but since i was raised in and left that particular church i feel like im allowed to share why i have an issue with it
