I try not to be.
Which sounds harsh, but you can't spend a life continually helping others ....it's not healthy, ultimately .
Esp when some others plights may be self made or self perpetuating.
It's best to selective where one puts ones energies .

@OogieBoogie is not harsh, as a people pleaser, i saw my uncle destroy his life for others, my other family members worsen their life for others. i'm in a state where i'm already screwed but i'm not getting worse!
