I hate group mentality sometimes

Yep, let's collectively weaken one person in in the hope that we each further cement our place in the group. If we make them the victim then it won't be us. That's how lacking in courage we are.

And nowhere is it more evident than on social media, where anonymity make people feel safe to be mob bullies.

I hate it too.
Even when the person they are bashing is at fault.
One barbaric act does not justify group barbarism.

So do I. Even when that one person has frequently been quite insulting and downright hateful to others, including me, the ganging up and bashing them bothers me sometimes. It especially does, when I'm even tempted to join in.

I understand when someone had a bad experience and got a chance to come forward with it but what I find stupid is when people "there there" the one who cries and want to fight someone without even learning what exactly happened first.

It seems to me that often certain similar personality types have clashes between each other and it's for the best to leave them tear each other's hair and stay away at safe distance.
