Do You Really Need This?

For someone to tell you [b]"I'm sorry"[/b] just so you can heal. I'm talking about that person who hurt you, that person who broke your heart, that person who broke you to pieces. Will it make a difference in your life if they did or didn't say [b]"I'm sorry"[/b]! It's beautiful to get but do you need it. Like really really need it?

No I don't need their sorry. That would make my beholden to their apology that may never come or may come in a way I cannot accept.
My healing has to be regardless of their actions. At that point I would be detached and see their actions as impersonal to me, and my hurt is what I need to focus on.
