Do you think I’m being sensitive?

Some student was being rude to me saying, “Hey! I wasn’t even talking to you so back off!” A teacher said, “Excuse me. That was rude. You can say it in a polite.”
He continued to talk to his friend. I didn’t know. I thought he was taking to the staff.

I held it together but it really hurt my feelings.
