Sometimes -- Actually, Lots of Times, I Say I'm Okay When I'm Not.

Lots of times, I pretend I don't have opinions when I actually DO have opinions.

Lots of times, I say that I don't mind when I actually DO mind.

And the reason I pretend not to mind when I do, or pretend not to have opinions when I do, is because I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, let alone have my feelings hurt in return.

Is it so wrong to be considerate to the point that it wears me out emotionally?

Does anyone else ever feel this way, or just me?

Oh I feel this so much. I am a people pleaser and thought making others Feel Good should be a priority OVER myself. But that came from feeling I am never right or enough (from childhood abuse). It is exhausting over time. I have life burnout now. So I know what you mean. I think it needs to be ok that OCCASIONALLY we too say our want or need or opinion. If everyone else can.. 24/7 ...why not us..sometimes????

You're not alone. It is, however, selfish to try to take on all burdens alone. I hope you can find someone to open up to and confide in about your struggles.
