if someone doesn't believe 'facts' about you, how should you react

in one occasion some time ago when i told someone certain 'facts' about myself, they never believed me and chose to hold a false perception about me instead, and i remember it made me feel frustrated and annoyed too, how should you react to a situation like that without losing your cool?

It depends upon that persons importance in your life. If they are a family member, or a close friend, and you are going to see them quite often, then you can provide them with documents that back up your "facts".

If they are a casual acquaintance, why bother? Just say something snotty, like, "Well, you just go ahead in your blind cloud, it doesn't matter a bit to me whether or not you believe the truth."

If they don't want to believe, that's not my problem.

That seems like their concern rather than mine

Pants them.
