I wasn't allowed to watch Peter pan growing up. Why? My mother didn't like how the native Americans were depicted and didn't want us seeing it.

I imagine many cartoons, and movies, did not portray Native Americans in a positive light.
The same for many other ethnic groups.

@chrisCA Especially in the olden days when Peter pan was made. My mothers native so I think that's why she brought the ban hammer down.
