Do you ever fear people’s attitude will change towards you when you post a pic of yourself here?

(If you’ve never done so before)

Yeah, it’s common knowledge now that I’m not a guy, but for a while because I didn’t have anything gender specific about my posts people assumed I was male. I kinda miss that assumption because people were more likely to take me seriously with less name calling/insinuation I must not know what I’m talking about, except for some women who mistakenly thought I was mansplaining.

@WhateverWorks people often think I am a dude as well. It really is annoying, but easier to hide behind
WhateverWorks · 36-40
For real. I didn’t intentionally portray myself as a guy or anything, but it was impossible not to notice the difference in how people responded to my thoughts on various topics. Funny, a little accidental social experiment @caccoon

Ack. The picture thing is hard. Sometimes I like to feel more present and “real” but it’s always been nerve-racking because it comes with the sensation of putting yourself forward for judgment. I don’t care much for that sensation, but at the end of the day, if the way I look changes anything, it’s just the universe showing me this isn’t someone I need to know.

I used to. Now that I've done it here and there. Things are just the same

MysterySci · 22-25, F
@MartinTheFirst You must miss the attention xD
It makes boys PM me gross stuff
MartinTheFirst · 22-25, M
@TryingtoLava sorry you werent meant to see that

Yeah, definitely although I'd not call it a fear but more of knowing how people behave. I don't want the focus on the way I look. I also don't want just anyone to have that level of access to me either. There are some who have seen me here and that is enough for me.

I had a little bit of trepidation the first time I posted a nude selfie ,and a few people did change their attitude towards me....but overall it wasn't as bad as I'd feared.
33person · 26-30, M
There's only one non-me person whose attitude about me I care about on here, and the rest can just stew in vicious jealousy and envy as long as they wish.

I think I’ve blocked most that have been asses when I’ve posted a pic of me
I will hardly ever do it anymore
JesseInTX · 51-55, M
@SW-User block the asses and just be you. I got upset about some comments a while back but then realized I worked to hard to be happy with me to let others ruin it.
SW-User
Well no need to fear that, I fear how they attitude will be towards me in the future
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
Omg yes. I noticed some people were nicer for a while.
MartinTheFirst · 22-25, M
Reject · 26-30, M
It always does, but I don’t mind. Why would I?
JesseInTX · 51-55, M
Everyone pretty much knows that if the little purple tag is on my post you’re probably going to see me naked. They either choose to have a look or scroll past it. I don’t have any fear when I post. I know who my friends and followers are and they support me. And it’s always nice to pick up new ones along the way.
Havesomefun2 · 56-60, M
Never cared I am me
NickiHijab · F
It already did when I first did around the time I was 17-18. I don't give a fuck anymore and I don't think others do either
th3r0n · 41-45, M
Eh, I chose to not be anonymous here

I'm not perfect but I am who I am

I rather be hated for who I am than liked for who I'm not
I’ve always spoken openly about being one of the older posters, and I’m not ashamed of that. But I stopped dyeing my hair last year and was briefly concerned some people wouldn’t talk to me. But I posted my first pictures with silver hair and I don’t think I lost any friends because of it.

I’m scared to do that incase I send SW members into an endless and intense orgasm

(Jk, obviously)

MartinTheFirst · 22-25, M
