Amen. You're not an everything is positive type person because you're genuine and that's the way we should be. There's no need to fake positivity or happiness. We're not machines / robots. It's okay to feel what we're feeling without being judged. I applaud your decision and honesty. You're showing people that it's okay to just be yourself and that's enough. This is the highest form of self-respect and love. I have to do the same. When I catch myself wanting to think negatively, I turn that around right away. No good can come from it. Just self-defeat and criticism. That creates low self-worth and low self-esteem. And that's exactly why the Bible says to guard our thoughts and train our minds. That's necessary. We are to be on our guard everyday because that devil is always wanting us to think negatively and that's why he brings up our past, as he knows what triggers to push so we'll be unhappy. The Bible says the best way to fight that devil is to keep our minds stayed on Him. And when we do that he promises that we shall have perfect peace. That's a promise in Isaiah 26:3.
