how should you 'react' or 'deal' with the occasions where you're ghosted

i don't like using that word, i only use it so people will know what i mean...i don't like anything modern, even using modern words, but thought it was required here, since most users here are the young generation.

anyhow, ghosting, it's happened to me a few times in the past from women, but it never gets easier to deal with.....a few weeks ago, i got to messaging some woman around about my age, i'm late 40s, she was in the same age range, i messaged her after commenting with her on her posts, initially she was receptive and friendly and showed an interest in my PMs, she sent me a follow up message telling me a bit about herself, where she's from etc....i sent her a reply........then that's it................she never replied back again?

maybe once more i was expecting too much, but i felt a bit annoyed about that, and also thought she was exhibiting ' weak' behaviour and when i thought more on that, i grew more angry....but i never responded back to her and just moved on, a lesson learned i suppose.

but in all seriousness, how should you deal with this when it happens? because it doesn't get easier, it triggers my emotions really, mainly anger.

If someone doesn’t want to be in your life or ghosts you. Take it for what it is.

Walk away, remove them from your life and move on.

@Achelois and that's more or less what i did, i realize i'm not doing myself any good by dwelling on it, but just wanted a bit of feedback on it , because as i told you in the past, different perspectives often help.
