What is "immature" about wanting women to be seen as the multifaceted, sentient, highly evolved beings that we are? I don't understand that logic. We're all of those things and more tbh. What am I missing here?
@DancingStarGoddess oh im just venting after having an argument with someone here.

They posted, (prolly a well intended), post about how beautiful black women are after speaking with one.

Which they are.
I totally agree.

But then he went and posted pics of highly aesthetic model types... and all young.

Not one thing about what her personality was like, what she liked, how she was....it was just about her looks.

I admittedly had a go at him😏

I mean, if i talked to someone.... and i liked, or was impressed by them....itd NOT be about their looks. Itd be about them, as a person.

I just cant believe there are still adult people going around, and all they see about the opposite gender....is what their eyes see!

And then when i say its kinda insulting as 99% of dark skinned women don't look like that -
I get told im broken and immature 🙄
....gaslight much dickhead?

Honestly....im so tired of us being meat
@OogieBoogie How does it make you broken and immature? That argument is incredibly valid and depending on the reasoning of said person it goes deeper in a way bc we're (black women)often only seen as attractive in the sense of a fetish rather than as someone who has value as a whole person or even equal to women of other races. Yes, we're sexual and sensual beings as are all women who choose to be so, but there is so much more, and limiting us to merely walking sex organs and an attractive facial aesthetic is to truly erase us as the force of nature we genuinely are.
@DancingStarGoddess EXACTLY 💪

being told im broken for thinking that is pretty much macho gaslighting🙄
