Yes, stagnation cannot bring progress.
However, at times, you must be patient, even with yourself: to have the space and time to heal, to recharge, to process some things calmly and to refocus. If you skip that step, you'll just turn in round until you are forced to rest and think by circumstances.
After that, you are technically ready for new horizons and must just push yourself out there to step forward!
