Dad’s wisdom? 🤔

I was talking to my dad last night, and I was complaining about my roommates to him, and he told me this

“ Before you criticize or judge someone’s beliefs or lifestyle
Take a step back and revaluate yourself
You’re not perfect sweetie, no one is
And that’s fine. Our flaws make us human, our differences make us unique”

( loosely translated because he said it in Spanish and I forgot a few more things that he said ) 😅

Assuming this is the same roommate with her boyfriend. You are entitled to reasonable personal boundaries which she doesn’t mind crossing!

Being nonjudgemental is a good quality but it does take a different edge when it invades your personal space.
