incomplete to be continued

Let go, they say, of the things that no longer serve you.
Let go, they say, of the things that no longer comfort you.
Let go, they say, of those who no longer understand you.

In the process of letting go and giving up you may accidentally let go of too many things and situations, chances disguised as failures, some that could potentially bring you so much success and joy in the future.

So...turn the tables and choose to hold on.
Hold on, to the challenges until you have improved yourself or the situation.
Breathe through the hard moments until you find the best solution once and for all.
Hold on, to all the tough things you can do best, instead of throwing them on another's back.
Hold on, to those who love you, even if they don't understand you sometimes - even you don't know yourself as well as you think.

If you always let go of everything that is out of your comfort zone, how will you grow, improve, learn?

Instead of focusing on what to let go, what to quit, what to give up on.... focus on what you want to hold on to, no matter what happens.
And hold it up and steady with your everything.
That is how you build strength and resilience.

And when you want to cry under the pressure... close the door, cry all the tears.
Then think calmly for about 15 minutes.
When that door opens, you walk out a lion, ready to seize life again, every time.
It’s not an all or nothing proposition. I think the trick lies in knowing which to choose. Holding on does take strength but so does letting go. All depends on the situation.
I don’t think we should let go of everything outside of our comfort zone, but there are certainly things that will bring more peace once untethered.
