This really hit home. Hard. For countless years, I just couldn't find it in me to forgive certain people for certain things that were done to me. They knew what was done was wrong. I knew it. Yet, I held onto not forgiving and had hatred within me. It was a low and lonely place for me. I would smile, but it was not a true smile. It was plastered on my face so that people thought all was fine with me and wouldn't ask questions all the time.
It was not easy, but I did learn to forgive. I didn't do it for anyone other for me. I was the one who was allowing someone other than myself to hold me back. Once I finally decided to forgive, I was able to put that part in my past. Of course, I'll never forget. It's just not weighing heavily on me. I am blessed and happy to be the person I am today. It was a long road, but here I am. This note will be here as a reminder to forgive. 馃槍馃挮馃挏[/center]
